Hello everyone

I am interested in starting an online business. 20 years from now when I'm rich and famous, I will harken back on this day in great appreciation! I have perused these forums a little and I am sure that I have found what I have been needing.... I sincerely look forward to interacting with the fine people of this forum.

A little about myself.... I am 45 years old, high school graduate and I have no real business experience to speak of other than ebay, craigslist kind of stuff. I work a full time job that doesn't pay very well but does have decent benefits. That being said, I foresee that funding will probably be my biggest challenge in getting this thing off the ground.

I am "internet saavy" and I am ready to make a long term commitment to this new endeavor and hopefully, with a little help from you guys and gals, it will be successful. Thanks, Charles.

Consider developing an eBook on the tools, technologies, methodologies, and techniques that will help someone accelerate their influence in those fields.

I think there was a misunderstanding. I did not intend to portray myself as anything special in regards to the internet. I simply meant that I am experienced in using the internet. I mean I have never built a website for example, but I'm sure I could if I so chose. I have no idea what kind of business to start... there are so many options but I do not know where to begin. I know I just need to DO SOMETHING.

I have a lot of reading/learning to do. I got an audible subscription today and used my credit to buy the TMF audiobook. I drive a lot in my job and have lots of time to consume audio content. I have been listening to various podcasts for years and some audiobooks as well.

Don't get caught up in too much learning. Just start where you are and make your first $1. It can be anything... where you start isn't where you'll end up so don't worry about getting married to one thing at this stage.

Thanks for the advice. I am doing some craigslist, facebook arbitrage. I really do not know where to start.
