I'm currently working a slowlane job in the IT industry.
I've owned a business in the past that honestly didn't do well but I learned a lot of valuable information.
Since I have a slowlane job my current focus is changing my habits. In particular from wasting time browsing the internet to reading books and starting an instagram account & a sales funnel -- with the goal of building up an audience to sell my own products in a very specific niche, that I believe is seriously under served in the US. Marketing was one of my major problems in my previous business, I had the skills for the job I serviced but didn't spend nearly enough money in marketing or know much about it.
I believe that anyone can accomplish their goals if they change their mindset and put in the time. Most people want to achieve success but don't put in the time required for it to become a reality. Instead they watch TV, hang out at the bar, play video games, or come up with excuses as to why it won't work and never try (guilty).
You could say that I've been through a lot, which I won't get into my life story here, but I'm sure I have it a lot better than many people did, however basically raising myself from the age of 15 it upsets me when I hear people talking about how they aren't able to get out of poverty and other people are 'just lucky'.
There's also another very specific social media account that I won't mention because it will give away the niche I'm looking at so I do currently have something very specific in mind to start and a lot of ideas.
