I have been reading through this forum the past few days and have been really intrigued by it, so I figured I would join this morning before heading to the "slow lane" (aka work). I am from Las Vegas, NV and I work for a casino doing IT. I am an autodidact therefore I have never been to a university.

The reason I am here is to read about how others have achieved success and then carve my own path. I have been saying to myself since I was 16 that I am just not cut out for work and that RE will be the way I rich multimillionaire status. I am very interested in owning apartment buildings and/or commercial shopping centers. I have read steveO's posts and have already ordered one of the books he recommended.
