Let me start by saying "Hello" and "glad to be here". My enrollment came as a result of a tiny, tiny bit of pestering on behalf of my lovely wife whom is on this forum. Hee Hee!
Let me start by telling you a bit about me. I'm in my mid-forties. Have a wife & three wonderful boys, two of whom are out of High School. One going into the USAF. One in College in Las Vegas. And a third still at home in school.
We live in our retirement home in Southern New Mexico, which, by flip of the coin was decided upon while living in the upper mid-west [the previous 11 years]. Our other choice was western Montana but having shoveled snow the previous 11 years in WI, the toss of the two headed coin fell in favor of warmer climates.
We had our home built by local contractors and the design was drafted in it's entirety by my wife.
I have a passive retirement income from serving many years as an Air Traffic Controller. I currently work as an Auto Mechanic, mainly to avoid shear-boredom. I have a pretty good collection of firearms [one of my hobbies]. I'm currently restoring a 1968 Ford Fairlane Fastback 500. I'm an avid hunter / shooter and enjoy sports such as Ice Hockey, Football, NASCAR, etc...
I've held a multitude of J.O.B.s in the past such as ATCS, Airplane Mechanic, Ice Maintenance Technician, Hockey Rink Ice Scheduler, Rink Manager, Circuit Board Manufacturer and served my country honorably in the United States Navy.
I'm very active in Political Science. Love reading. Have two wonderful [but pesky] Blue / Red Australian Cattle Dogs [Heeler's].
I'm a supportive Husband of my wife's "Fastlane to Millions" endeavors and am always looking to help her in any way possible.
I'm here to learn ALL that is available and would be mainly interested in a forum that openly discusses tax-law and/or discussions to educate myself in sheltering wealth. I am also working to reach a 20% [income] donation goal to Charities! I like the idea of giving to charities of my choice and hope to start some threads regarding different peoples experiences with their charities.
Again, I'm glad to be here and hope to hear from many of you!
