Hello, everybody, I am really glad and thankful to be here to start this journey with all of you.
My name is Arnau and I am from a little village in rural Spain. I am 24 and I am a teacher. Although I haven't been teaching since I graduate myself a couple of years ago. What I did instead was to attain one of my goals. My English was ridiculous and I was filled with a voracious need for improving it (as I thought, and still, think, it's a major language that can open a lot of opportunities).
So the process went like this:
1-Tell my parents (Yes, I was living with them at that time)
2-Complete all the necessary paperwork
3-Pack everything
4-Takeoff
5-Hello Australia
As you probably can guess, everything was new. From the people to the language, from the dimensions of the city to the climate conditions, from the food to the traffic.
It wasn't easy at all, especially during the first days and weeks. After roughly one and a half years gathering multiple experiences there, nowadays I consider myself a competent English speaker. I do still commit a lot of mistakes, but it's a proof of the learning process pathway.
I came across the Millionaire Fastlane because of a friend. I was hooked. Unscripted followed.
I am here to start a way to the land where the clocks melt around, like in Salvador Dali's The persistence of memory masterpiece.
With that having been said, I am here to add value when and where I can and also to learn as much as I can from every single one of you. I'll keep you posted with my process.
That is all for now If you have made it until the end, thanks for reading! I wish everybody a bright and wonderful day!
