Hello Everyone,

Happy to be here.

I'll start with a little background about myself. I have a Bachelors degree in engineering and I work as an industrial engineer. I've been in the industry for about 4 years now at two different companies. I've wanted to own my own business my whole life. I made a deal with myself that I would own my own business by 30. I'm about to turn 28 and I don't have anything started.

That's what brought me to reading Millionaire Fastlane . I've read a lot of business books but this one really made me think about how little control I have over my life. I also found it very relatable living in Chicago and making the same soul sucking commute as talked about in the book.

Thank you @MJ DeMarco for lighting a fire under my a$$. I want to use this community to begin the process of moving from the slowlane to the fastlane and giving back where I can.

I'll wrap up with a quote that has stuck with me this year. "If you don't build your own dream, Someone else will hire you to build theirs".

Thank you and happy new year!
