Hi Everyone,
I am a software developer in Cape Town, South Africa and I have been building side projects for many years now. Among them are apps and websites, all of which are dead. It took me quite some time to realize that there is a big difference between building things for fun and actually taking the time to explore, research and understand who you are trying to target and why you are targeting them.
Currently, instead of just building things for fun, I am getting into the routine of finding, watching and searching through forums trying to find problems and the people who are experiencing those problems.
I also just finished Unscripted and it is an amazingly written book. About 6 months ago I read The Millionaire Fastlane and since then I have been assessing opportunities according to the fastlane commandments
.
I want to go the route of the fastlane entrepreneur because the ultimate purpose is to be of service and help to other people. The best way to achieve a great legacy and influence on other people's lives is by building systems to solve their problems. And once you are free from time, you can keep serving and growing systems to be of even more value to society.
