Hey Everyone, Daniel here.
So, the whole story started in November 2021 when I stumbled upon an app called Notion. I really liked it, started using it, and found out that there are a ton of templates created by people like me and you that they are selling for money. I bought/tried a couple, and I was very disappointed but also very excited at the same time. I realized: I can do this, and I can do this BETTER.
So I tipped my toe by creating a simple template where you can score your life categories (kind of a wheel of life thing). And it had incredible success. True to be told, I gave it for free, but with a pay what you want option. In a couple of days, I made over $100 and gathered more than 500 email addresses.
So I took the whole Notion template business more seriously. In January I launched a more complete template with a price tag of $39. Things were going great, and even though for months I did not lift a finger to do more, I still made more than $7000 this year from this side gig.
Now, I again got activated and made a huge improvement to my template, making it the best Notion template by far on the market. Of course, with that, I also raised the price tag to $99, which is still reasonable compared to other products out there.
Now, here comes the tricky part. I don't really have an audience and I'm kinda stuck now.
People on my email list, who wanted to buy my product, already did.
On social media, I have little to no followers.
How do I put my product in front of potential customers?
Here are my current ideas, and I'm hoping that you guys can give me more options, ideas, and advice.
- Creating a social media calendar for Twitter & Pinterest (those are the most used in my niche) - I want to post multiple times a day, slowly growing my reach.
- Starting posting on my blog related content, for future SEO benefits.
- Creating short Youtube videos that is relevant to my niche
- Posting my product on relevant marketplaces for a cut (affiliates)
- Creating a landing page and setting up Google Ads
- Be active in the niche's community like FB Groups, Reddit
My questions:
- Which of the above you think would be the most important, where to start?
- How can I find affiliates who to also sell my product?
- Any other ideas how can I get more traffic & grow my business?
About my business:
- My product: Limitless OS 2.0 - Ultimate All-In One Notion Template
- My blog (under construction): www.danielmarthi.com
My Fastlane plan:
1. Use this side-hustle to grow my income, save some money and quit my job
2. Turn the knowledge I gathered in my first side hustle towards a niche that I care about a lot more: "the human mind/psychology/importance of thoughts/mind-body connection)
