Just got done reading TMF and Unscripted . I wish I had known about this forum earlier as I have already seen a wealth of information and witnessed countless accounts of people being helped on these forums and I haven't even been here a day. Reading the Gold threads and searching through the older posts of users such as @G_Alexander are really eye opening to the achievements one can obtain through perseverance, learning, and action.
I little bit about me, I grew up in Geneva, Illinois and am now unemployed residing in St. Charles. I've worked a slew of entry level jobs from slinging caffeine to starbucks fiends to selling suggestive halloween costumes to high schoolers at party city. I've climbed cell phone towers and refurbished construction trailers for general contractors. I cam modeled online for amazon gift cards, all the while being an escort to lonely mothers looking for ways to spend their divorce settlement.
While I learned a lot and had fun with the inevitable hilarity that ensues from such endeavors, it all left me swimming in the same vacuous void of the SCRIPTED life.
Thanks @MJ DeMarco for the invaluable insight you have offered in your books as well as the countless of other users on this forum for the information you disseminate amongst each other. I aim to catalog my journey as well as offer the same caliber of value back to the community as they are already offering to me. It feels like home here.
