Good day everyone,

My name is Chip and I am in complete awe for the fact that this forum exists. Finished listening to 'The Millionaire Fastlane ' (great book) last week on Audible and was looking for quite some time for a quality forum for entrepreneurs. And finally believe I've found it.

Some info about me: I'm 26 and been a freelance magician almost my entire life. Am really struggling at the moment to make it from the freelance world to the entrepreneur world and am following a few examples from TMF to try to build a proper business that will not be dependent necessarily on my time in the future.

Am looking forward to reading the forum, commenting and altogether learning more from other people who have more experience than me.

Cheers to the ones that are on the entrepreneur journey!

Welcome aboard, Chip!

I almost got roped into doing marketing for a service that connected magicians with people looking to hire magicians. It was some local Kansas business, and the owner couldn't get the project off the ground due to being stuck in developer hell.

I should go back to see what ever happened with that business, as I rather liked the concept.

Perhaps you can start within your niche. You already know the industry inside and out. What problems do the magicians or customers face, and what can you do to solve those?

Thanks lowtek for your answer and your kind welcome.

Of course a business like you described would be based in Kansas, and the headquarters would be next to Dorothy's house I suppose :)

And thank you for all the suggestions. It's very sound advice.

Will keep everyone in the loop with the development. I believe this is a very good time to work on our businesses, since most of the countries are in lockdown.
