Giving out loans

So I was recently reading through the book: the fast lane, when I read about the idea of loaning people money as a way of making passive income. So far I haven’t seen any forums on lending money and I couldn’t find much on google either. So I thought I’d create my own forum with the questions I have on lending money.

First off does anybody have a program they use to lend money with interest rates that increase with inflation? If not than what do you use. Because personally I think that a program or some online way would be more reliable then a human. If anyone has a detailed explanation on how the loan money to people then it would be great to hear your process and/or thoughts and opinions on this topic thanks.
