Hello all:smxB:

I'm very excited about this site!! I came here as a guest looking for info on mini storages and found pearls of wisdom scattered everywhere!! I'll stop preaching to the chior b/c I'm sure all of you know that. Well, long story short about me. I've been in the real estate profession for about 3 years, and now the time has come to use my knowledge for my own investments. I have my blinker on now and I'm hopping into to fast lane with you guys and gals. Right now I'm in the prelim stage of buying my first mini storage facility. So any advice on how to make that change of ownership as smooth as possible for the current renters would be helpful. I'm considering an apt complex for my second undertaking. I've been the agent in some apt sales, and I feel I have the basic know how to get that vehicle cranked up too. So there you have it good people..that's where my focus is in a nut shell. Any knowledge of buying mini storages or apt complexes would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you guys as well. Thanks for this forum...you gotta love talking to like-minded people.

Welcome to the forum ... I'm pretty sure AroundTheWorld owns self-storage property.

Thanks for the welcome guys...I have to pick ATW's brain. So what would you guys consider to be your investing niche? I was reading some posts yesterday and found a great quote, "Niches are Riches" or something close to that effect. It forced me to try to narrow my range a little. As a novice investor, you just feel like kid in a candy store....ready to try everything to see what's your flavor. I'm going to try my best to keep it simple, you know.
