Front End Offer For Infoproduct

I'm about to launch a fitness infoproduct for $47. I also have an upsell priced at $37.

But I see a lot of guys put out $7 front end offers which then lead to a $47 main product.

Is this better to do?

I know I need to test myself, but does anyone who runs an infoproduct business have any insight on this?
