Hello, my name is Paola.
"I grew up in a single-parent household; my mother, like many mothers, was a fighter.
She lacked financial education but founded a consumer goods company about 40 years ago. My mother still works at over 70 years old, but I don't want to follow the same path.
At 18, I moved to Spain where I met my future husband, who is English and has an entrepreneurial mindset. I worked with him for a few years until our first daughter was born, and since then, I feel like I haven't contributed financially to the family.
Two years ago, we moved from Spain to Portugal. I had a job in a café, but I injured my arm and no longer want to sacrifice my health for my boss. I want to learn from everyone's experiences and connect with influential people. What drives me, or rather why I want this, is to help my family and others.
