Roberto here, checking in at 25 and waving goodbye to the slow lane. A couple of years back, a teacher told me about the MFL book, and just last week, I stumbled upon the note where I jotted down that recommendation. So, I figured, why not give it a shot? As soon as I cracked it open, MJ's unapologetic tone jumped out at me. No dream-selling, no guru vibes—just straight-up, no-nonsense truth about life and money. And man, I was hooked.
Now, about my current job—I'm cruising in the slow lane, but with a job that's not your typical 9-5 (not in the US, by the way). I've got some freedom, working 3-4 days straight. Im not constantly working during those shifts, but I've got to be on call 24/7 in case of any tech emergencies. After that stretch, I enjoy a sweet 7-10 days off. The job's cool, not too draining, but the idea of trading time for money forever? Nah, not my thing.
So, I decided to shake things up. Investing my free time in creating a business, I'm diving into web programming and networking through online courses. Already cooked up a few small projects, and my big goal is a fully functional website that serves up some serious value. Still figuring things out, but it feels like I'm on the right path.
Oh, by the way, no debts on my plate, emergency fund's in good shape, and I'm staying sharp with reads like MFL. Thanks for tuning in, and it's awesome to be part of this forum!
