First online project - Website teaching music

Hi all, I'll recap using what I've already written in my intro thread :

My first project is based on music. Expressed as simply as possible : a website offering information on how to acquire the skillset in a way that is also entertaining.

If it gets some traction I'd monetize it with the promotion of the products I'm actually using or by having an e-com section on the website... That would be in quite some time down the line though.

Pretty low expectations to be honest, but I think I can learn a lot and gain good experience from taking this project as far as I can, and then move on to the next.

I'll share the website once it is more developed. I've bought the domain and got it set up though. The Website is basically gonna be an equivalent to a book teaching classic rock/blues guitar playing + singer/songwriter style of performance, free of access.

So far I've been posting covers because they are quick to make and showcase that I actually have expertise in music.

Hi all !

Time to update my log. I'm just back to work now after two weeks off so I won't have time to put out new videos.

I managed to put out 12 YouTube videos and have probably 3 or 4 in bank that I'll be able to release in the next 2 weeks.

Pretty happy with the progress particularly in regards to my recording skills.

That's the first new solo I recorded trying to get a similar sound to the famous Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii recording :

I'm back at work again after 14 days so I'll update this log.

I've published 11 videos and am now sitting at 39 subscribers and around 40-50 unique viewers a day after 2 months.

The domain is already bought and it's online.

Haven't worked much on it yet, probably when I'm around 200 unique viewers a day on YouTube I'll start building the most relevant parts of it.

Hi all,

I wanted to give a feedback on the progress.

I'm currently hitting 5k unique viewers a month so I'm feeling motivated to move on to the next gear with the project. I'm currently busy at work but when I'm off next week, I'm gonna upload a lot of videos and finally put up my sales page for amazon affiliate marketing.

I'm also thinking of looking into making band t-shirts and selling them.
