Hi my name is Bilal. I just finished the millionaire fastlane book and it was fantastic, thanks MJ for the gold content.

My story:

I graduated with a degree in financial mathematics, went into insolvency as my first job then eventually I did marketing. Evey job felt like I was in a prison of my mind, I loved creating things, working on a variety of things. Naturally working one job for life and losing out on time was not my priority.

I worked on side projects such as e-commerce and Amazon kdp but as MJ explained, I was doing it for selfish reasons and they inevitably failed as I did not fill a market need. Also, my mindset was still stuck in the sidewalk; instant gratification.

However, i enjoyed the journey and experience. Soon after, I let my family install the slowlane mindset and over time, my dreams slipped away. I was stuck in confusion, should I just get a career like everyone else and save, then I can get married, blah blah...

I was struggling to get excited about any career, every time I would brainstorm, I would revert back to entrepreneurship. But my mind was telling me entrepreneurship is impossible, it's just guru's selling their crap courses and ripping people off. So I was trapped, slowly fell into depression because I could see no way out; my mind was foggy.

Then, I bought the fastlane book and I was convinced that this author knows what he is talking about, he has the experience and he has implemented that. Yes, he is marketing his book but everything in this book made so much sense in terms of psychology and mathematics. I know one book can't change me but it definitely had an impact that has given me the belief that we can make this work; it won't be easy but it can be accomplished if i put in the process.

Thanks for reading. Forgive me if there are grammar mistakes as I am writing from my heart on the bus lol.

I would love to connect with people in this forum. Thanks
