INTRO Feeling like the biggest loser.

Well, hello there dear Fastlaners.

I would like to apologize in advance since I am not a native English speaker.

So, who am I? I live in The Netherlands, I am 21 years old and after reading TMF last week or so I feel like I am the biggest loser alive. The burning desire to do something with my life started when I was around 18 years old. I started reading A LOT of books on personal development / business and watched a ton of YT vids. It helped me of course, but execution is key as Gary V says.

At age 19, I started a YouTube channel but failed pretty miserably. Last year I took a gap year and started a mediaproduction company, something that I enjoyed doing and made around 15-20k (had to share that with my partner). Learned a lot, the main takeaway was that I would NEVER EVER wanted a company like that one ever again. It violated pretty much all the CENTS.

And this is why I feel like the biggest loser, I feel COMPLETELY stuck in life. I am so f*cking motivated to start a massive business, I want to suffer massively to accomplish, work work work and work again to succeed at it and accomplish my dreams, for some reason however, I am in COMPLETE Analysis Paralysis. I just can't think of a good CENTS idea to start and honestly, it is driving me freaking nuts...

I am trying to uncover problems people have / I have in order to start with a business around that problem, but so far nothing has come up and I don't know what to do anymore.. Since it is unlikely that I will come up with a good enough business idea that is executable aswell and doesn't violate CENTS, I started looking at the more obvious businessplans.

I can design beautiful websites with wordpress. Thought about creating some templates and selling them to businesses for $999 dollar. Pretty limited in scale though.

Thought about opening an Ecommerce store, since my college starts in a month and I kinda have to go since I promised myself that if I didn't build something substantial / sustainable in the last year I would have to continue with college and so and therefore I won't be able to sell websites cuz college is obviosuly during office hours. But Ecommerce, I dunno, although I've read stories from massively successful fastlaners on this forum with webshops, I feel like I am just too late to start an Ecommerce store and need to solve a 'bigger' problem.

Though about creating a leadgen website like MJ's, but haven't came up with the right fragmented industry in which this is possible and my chances of succeeding are somewhat OK.

I just don't know what to do my dear fastlaners. Any advice is much appreciated... Maybe I am trying to hard, maybe I am a massive p*ssy. Either way, don't hold back and throw it straight in my face

Don't be so hard on yourself, it's virtually impossible to start a business without violating at least one CENTS. Action is way more important and it seems you're on the right track with good ideas.

Don't overthink, just do.

You started a company at 20 that earned actual money and call yourself a pussy?

Lol man. Do you even realize how rare is for someone your age to start a company and have the daily stress of delivering results to customers?

You're the furthest thing from a pussy (a 21-inch c*ck perhaps?)

Since now you're familiar with CENTS, my advice is to pick one business idea that long-term, doesn't violate the principle of time. Violating other principles is OK in my book, but time = the most important of all.

Let's focus on the amazing stuff in this post.

1. You already created one company, and it actually made money. Way ahead of many other people, specially in your age.

2. You can design beautiful websites.

Pretty limited in scale?

It is, if you only sell them a $999 website design.

But why stop there?

Don't sell them beautiful website designs. Sell them more business. More clients. More customers.

"Hey Sir, would you like a new beautiful website?" - Meh, no thanks.

"Hey Sir, would you like to double your business?" - I'm listening. Tell me more!

Want to scale a website building business? How about SEO, PPC, lead generation, Facebook Ads management etc?

Let's take a look at what you should do right now.

1. Find 1 person you can help with a better website.

2. Do a fantastic job.

3. Watch Fox and learn.

4. Repeat step 1-2.

Stop telling yourself that you're a looser, that you're in the analysis-paralysis zone or any other crap for that matter.

...therefore I won't be able to sell websites cuz college is obviosuly during office hours
What if you had a check waiting for $10,000? Would you just sit down and complain about office hours?

I bet you can create amazing websites.

And I bet a lot of companies around you could use more clients, more business.

Am I right?

Get your socks in your clogs and go!

try and target those businesses in your scope that want to thrive and want the best and want more sales/promise and business and rely on the utmost professional of designs; you should dominate if you source and find the appropriate leads.

So you've had some success. Congrats.

I wouldn't beat yourself up so bad. Just get started with something. If you're going to dismiss CENTS, just start with the N and the C ... NEED and CONTROL.

Welcome aboard and thanks for the intro.

By chance I stumbled upon his threads which gave me a lot of insights in the business, your response did aswell. Maybe I was looking at things from a glass half empty perspective. The replies on this thread helped MASSIVELY for me to get clarity. Thanks a lot, I really do appreciate it!

You're right, few people start with a business that include all the CENTS. Just gotta start somewhere again and eventually funnel that money into a business that doesn't violate a single element of the CENTS.

On a more personal note MJ, it has only been a week, but this forum changed my life already. You WILL hear from me again, mark my words.
