These bring me to another realization. Accountability. Success brings with it a lot more accountability, and I think that can be discouraging. People start holding you accountable for a lot more, and whether you don't want all that responsibility or you are afraid to let others down, this could hold you back. Maybe it's all rooted to laziness. Nobody likes to be known as lazy but maybe they do not have the energy to keep it going.

Thanks. I looked at my earlier comment and realized I had a couple more things to say and it turned into an actual post that I put on my blog here. I agree that no one wants to be seen as lazy, but I don't think it always comes down to energy or lack thereof. It has to do more often with what's going in your head. I suppose one way of looking at it is if you have a healthy outlook on achieving your goals, you'll always have the energy to get it done. The energy comes from inside yourself. It's fair perhaps to say failure comes from lack of intensity, commitment or energy...but the *reason* we lack these things is not because we're incapable of producing the energy...it's because of self-sabotage.
