I recently responded to a video where I commented about how Cenk from The Young Turks must not realize how money works.

I kid you not... I received too many negative votes and was flagged:

Remember that dumb a$$ poster in your 4th grade class that said "Attitude is everything!" and had an elephant spraying water and shit.

I now look back and realize just how true that is despite it being so cliche and dry.

It appears unbelievable because these people don't perceive things the same way you do. These people don't perceive themselves as feeling entitled. Since, as I'm told, "perception is reality", this is the garbage you have to put up with.

A friend had sent me the video and I just threw in my 2 cents at the end.

As a liberal, I dislike Young Turks more and more by the day. It's disgraceful, really.

Re-analyze your ideological alignment, I don't think you'd line up very "liberal."

What absolutely floors ME is that I recommended TFL book to 6 good friends, or people I think are smart enough to do something with their lives...3 bought the book...1 is reading and loving it (my Son, who lives on his own and is poor). Everyone else is still bitching and complaining to the point that I can't even talk to them. I can't comprehend this.

My Facebook news feed currently contains:

- Tons of memes talking about how socialist governments in Europe pay for everything and how great it is.
- We should pay students to go to college for free.
- FB is evil for not allowing bare breasts to be shown on FB for breast cancer ads. My response was would you allow testicles for testicular cancer or two people having sex with a condom on for safe sex advertising? Their response is I'm crazy and that's different.
- Constant complaints about not having any money to buy things.
- Constant complaints about being poor and that the government needs to do more for them.
- Tax the rich.
- Did I say tax the rich, let's tax the rich even more.

It's killing me inside. I feel like I need to just disconnect myself. That is why the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer!

Dknise, your video comment was actually very refreshing to read and i'm sure it stuck out. Just remember that 99% of the herd won't think like the Collie. At the end of the day think about who is the one that's roaming free and who are the ones in the pen. Get used to the herd charging back. Let them be stuck in their pen. It happens. Move on. Stop reading what sidewalkers post! What ever they say/believe/comment/vomit on won't affect your reality.
