Have been lurking for several years. Read both of the Fastlane books and must say they are absolutely invaluable. Been actively involved in entrepreneurship/ self employment since the age of fourteen. Have had many highs and many lows as others may be able to relate to. Currently going through a divorce and trying to set myself up for new and exciting opportunities. A 2017 investment in Canadian publicly traded cannabis stocks and real estate investment in Bali, Indonesia have allowed me some solid financial security going forward. Not sure if this is a great introduction yet just happy to have finally signed up. Would love to meet fellow entrepreneurs from the West Coast of Canada and/ or share any of my experiences along the way. Started investing in real estate at age 23 and have owned five rental properties over the last 18 years. Currently split my time between Victoria BC and North Bali Indonesia. Have extensive experience in home building and currently really interested in the Tiny Home movement which is gaining traction North American wide. Am working towards my goal of utilizing residential construction waste to build Tiny Homes on Wheels. The amount of wood that ends up in the landfill is mind blowing to me. Currently in the panning stages of building my own tiny home on wheels while researching the validity of creating unique tiny home communities on Vancouver Island. Hope to add some value to the community as I have been through the entrepreneurial wars over the last twenty five odd years.
