This all might sound a bit trivial, but it isn’t. When the media hypes companies like Facebook and apps like Instagram, it almost feels like a failure to focus on areas that are not as trendy and don’t offer glitzy dreams of billion-dollar returns.

Yet, when you look at the stories of founders, you will see that many of them were driven by their passion to build stuff that customers want based on business models that enable that. They focus on unaddressed pains, gains and jobs in their field of expertise, or area of interest and passion.
