Just got two proposals from a friend in UK. I have never been to UK and not sure if what my friend said is true or not.

1. They are looking for help to sell memory stick in UK. Since I know Chinese and can deal with China manufacture well, they are asking for my help to import memory stick from China to UK. I was told that UK has great demand on memory stick while they are very expensive in UK.

2. Online advertisement in UK. I bet there are many online advertisement web sites out there in UK. I am not sure what the problem the local business are facing and not sure how people search for great deal in UK.

Just wondering if they are great potential to invest my time and $$.

I know there are many members from UK on this forum. Just want to get some advices from them.

Thanks!

well in the UK, one things for sure is that memory sticks are expensive. Demand is medium to high in my opinion, but there are alot of shops that sell all kinds of memory sticks. To us paying $20.00 for a 2GB usb is normal. If you could sell it for cheaper online then go for it. Normally in the UK people but these kinds of items from pcworld. as it tends to be the cheapest there. It would be better for you to try out on an ecommerce site with limited stock of memory sticks to see the demand. Dont waste too much time on it though, use your previous ecommerce template to see how it going. Hope this helps, but normally we go to shops to buy these kinds of products. depends on the cost as well.

I actually found it cheaper and easier to get a friend to send me a memory stick from NYC.
The Chinese ones are mainly counterfeit. ( I am not suggesting that the ones you will be importing are, it's just common knowledge that most are.)
