Hey all,
So, we're starting an affiliate program for 1 of our products. Up to this point we've never had one. We have an experienced affiliate manager who will run the program but I have to choose the network we run on as the owner of the company.
Normally, I would go with the program that would scale fastest but my biggest concern is lower quality affiliates if it scales too quickly. We don't want to damage the brand reputation with shitty marketing. Right now we have an excellent reputation with consumers and all the content that's out there for marketing is of high quality. It's part of our strategy. We also rank extremely well SEO wise and again don't want to screw that up.
So, we have to decide between iDev and Affiliate Window. With iDev we would reach out to affiliate marketers and mostly run it ourselves. We'd just use the platform. It will be slower growth but we can runner a tighter program.
With Affiliate Window it should scale much faster since they have many affiliate marketers who use their program and are looking for products to promote. Again though, i'm concerned about junk marketers. Maybe it's an unfounded concern?
Does anybody have a recommendation or experience with this? I'm new to this stuff and just trying to get as much info as possible.
