I have a confession to make. I have bought into the "self-help" arena lies and I have more or less failed.
For all my life, I have loved reading. And I have loved improving myself. However, today I've realized something.
NO you don't need to spend 2 hours a day reading.
NO you don't need to spend 1 hour a day visualizing.
NO you don't need to spend 30 minutes a day doing self-help exercises.
You know what you must do? GET TO WORK. Not tomorrow, not later. But now.
You need to take action. Yes, success is built using good habits. But bills are paid by work, not by the fact that you read 30 minutes every day.
The real secret to success? GET TO WORK. It's as simple as that. You'll learn everything you need to know in the process. But do not wait to program yourself for years into becoming a success person and then become one.
Get to work, get results, become a success person and THEN tweak those results for the better. I think a lot of the people here understood the message the wrong way.
It is better to be a slow-laner than broke.
It is better to be an entrepreneur than a slow-laner.
But no one said that there is any kind of honor in deluding yourself and not taking any kind of action.
In the real world, this will kill you, financially, spiritually, emotionally.
Before you can fly, you must learn how to run. Before you can run, you must learn how to walk. And before how to walk, you must learn how to crawl. Therefore, before you make your first million or ten million, you need to pay your own rent and bills. And if you don't even own your own place or at least rent your own place, then forget about the fast-lane. First, get a life, stop acting like a financial parasite and then think about building your empire.
