DJ Pauly D - REMIX Vodka Cocktails - Beverage Businesses

So earlier in the day someone posted a Britney Spears song. I went on Twitter to her account, looked at her pics and saw DJ Pauly D in one of them (Just to make things clear I watched a little bit of the first season back when it was on...years ago; I have not watched any TV at home in years now). Went to his profile and saw that he was promoting REMIX which is his new vodka cocktail line. That got me thinking...

Years ago I thought it would be cool to own a nightclub, so I learned a little bit about that and figured out that the drinks served there is a primary source of income. I didn't think too much of the nightclub business anymore since then but having a winery as a retirement business I thought about recently...

Anyways, I was visiting Southern CA where I think it is Miller Brewing Company and Monster Energy that have buildings right outside of the freeway.

All this is making me think...wouldn't it be awesome to have a beverage business? Maybe an alcoholic beverage business?

Instead of being stuck with one nightclub you can sell a beverage product to retailers and nightclubs all over the world which is much more scalable. Even MLMs have energy drinks as their main product, not sure about alcoholic beverages though.

Does anyone have any experience with the beverage industry? (even as an employee)

I've always been focused on having an internet business as my future fastlane so I have no idea how to even get physical goods made and moved around. Anyone care to share the basics on that and/or books that I could read to get myself started with the basics?
