Consulting guidence when you start a business? Helpful?

Hi Fastlaners!

I have come to a point where I have a business idea but I have no idea how to make that idea into reality without some sort of consulting guidance since it's a physical product.
I live in Sweden and we have free consulting guidance regarding starting a business. Have you guys the same thing in your country? Have you used it and was it helpful for your starting your business?

For guidance on creating a physical product business, read through the threads where folks have built physical products--they have real-world experience on doing it.

Depending on the consultant you're getting advice from, if they haven't built a physical product business, they'll only be able to give you general advice (e.g., trust your gut, be persistent, listen to the market), but not specific guidance.
