Cold emailing and GDPR?

Does anyone know what the GDPR issue is when sending cold emails? How should such an email look like? What should I keep in mind? I am only concerned with legal issues, not with the effectiveness of the email etc.

I'm specifically talking about B2B and sending emails from the EU to countries within the EU.

I obtain the business data myself, I do not buy
any databases.

Have you had the same problem? How did you deal with it?

You need the consent of every man you send an email. The consents, you got before 25.Mai2018 are still valid.
After that date you need a new consent.
Well, and the penalty is up to 20 m Euros. Or4% of worldwide sales.
