Hi all,

Have a tough choice to make. I am currently a young realtor (23) there is some money in real estate but I have much bigger plans. This is something I started to raise capital and not have an income cap.

However I was offered a position by a mortgage lender. It is very similar to being a realtor the only difference is your product is money. I am trying to figure out what is a better road to go down and what has more growth potential. Any advice would be great.

Awhile ago I started out in the mortgage business. After a year, I found that selling money wasn't what I wanted to do and moved on to real estate. I became a Realtor after spending many months in investment real estate deals, like fix and flip. It was what was better for me. Whether you choose mortgage or real estate, your thoughts should include how you will scale your business, and increase your income beyond commissions. Both are good industries, but are very different.
