Hi everyone. Reading TMF really struck a cord with me. I am/was a classic slow-laner. Went to university, got a job, went to business school, got a better paying job. But I was always working hard to make someone else lots of money. Whilst I am getting a decent salary for what I do, I'd rather now cut-out the 'middle-man' that is my employer and build my own business. I don't regret the path I've followed so far - my intended venture is in a highly regulated space and the 10 years I've been working as an employee has taught me a great deal about operating in this environments, building contacts, product development, IP (generation and protection), marketing, value-chain etc. Looking forward to reading more about other's journeys and contributing to the forum
