First post on the forums. Quick background: I'm a 27 year old male. I am just beginning my journey into business and entrepreneurship; I've never started a business before.
I have this idea for a really cool sweater design. I have a gut feeling that it would be very marketable and resonate with consumers. I know absolutely nothing about business, clothes, or the fashion industry.
My question is: can you build a clothing business off a single design/product? I should point out that the design allows for variation, meaning that all the sweaters would have the same basic "layout", but the finer details within the layout can vary, if that makes sense. I could use the analogy of a water bottle: the structure of the bottle is the same from bottle to bottle, but the colors, decals, etc. can change.
