Just wanted to give a short intro to myself. After reading this FF book a few years ago I picked it up again a few weeks ago for some inspiration. I am at a point where things I put in place a few years ago are starting to pay off and wanted to connect with likeminded people to share ideas, make relationships and even do business with.
The first longer term activity I have been working on is buying heavy asset based businesses from baby boomers. Even though I have been involved in a number of mentoring groups one that I joined around 18 months ago has finally landed a deal. I have over 30 businesses in the pipeline and we are going though one and are in the due diligence phase. These are typically businesses that have a T/O over >£3m, EBIDTA>£300k, low debt and owners that are willing to stay active in the deal for at least 12 months and accept deferred payments of 5 years. The businesses are bought using an LBO method and little to no cash in. You can imagine these are few and far between but its not a get rich quick method!

I have also been trading forex for around 10 years suffering huge losses. Over the last 6 months I have equipped myself with another great Gold trading group and have been profitable for the last 2 months.
