I got inspired this morning listening to a podcast MJ was on last year. I want to share it in case any of you are thinking of quitting / giving up on your current business idea.
MJ was asked what he thought about the expression "Failing Fast." He said you have to be careful about following mantras that sounds real cool because you might wind up shortchanging yourself.
He said people quit too early for these reasons:
1. Maybe...You didn't hit the right channel
2. Maybe...You hit the right channel but not hard enough (or not enough of them)
3. Maybe...You didn't convey your value properly
A memorable quote:
"Business is like a piñata. You want to beat it to death until the goodness comes out of it."
His point was that if you just hit it twice and move on to the next thing...nothing comes out of it.
It's a good reminder to make sure we keep smacking that piñata until we "Crack the Code to Wealth."
