The story behind this SaaS is I was looking for a business idea. And in the journey of searching the internet for what problems people had, nothing really was obvious to me even though i know they are there. I suddenly had a realization that news articles are always talking about problems and rarely deliver any possible solutions. I found myself always watching the news or news feeds and was thinking what can disrupt the news industry (like when the internet was invented and newspapers went away). Then I went on ChatGPT, entered a link to a news article and asked it to deliver me the problems that were discussed in the news article. Then it clicked that almost any prompt I enter was me "trying to solve a problem". Although this procress was manual, as a working software engineer, I knew this process could be automated.
I could just create a platform to deliver business ideas from news articles leveraging AI. Wrap it in a SaaS. Then charge customers who are looking for a business idea.
I spent a good portion of my paternity leave (3 months) building the platform whenever possible, late at night while the baby and wifey were sleeping. Because that's honestly some of the quietest hours available (if you are lucky haha).

- Deciding on the API to use to pull news articles and which LLM would do the news article analysis (then pulling the trigger to get subscription keys and funding the LLM with tokens)
- Pricing and Payments (Subscription, One-time fee)
- Marketing (my nightmare. If you build it, they won't come, you need to convice people that already desire what you are looking for to use you)
The current step is...we are live now and trying to get users.
- By doing things that don't scale. Which involes DMing people on social media who are looking for "business ideas". Writing post (this forum, Reddit, X).
- Trying to think of marketing efforts.
