Bounce rate with a single page website?

i drove some traffic to my site the other day it was a 93% bounce rate, had about 250 people visit, but it is only a single page website, theres only some hyperlinks they can click.

How does google analytics gauge the bounce rate? can i not go by the BR because i have only a single page? From what i know now, the bounce rate is who visits the page you directed them to and left without browsing to another section, but i only have a single landing page
