I have an idea for a site but I've hit a few roads blocks. It's basically a video sharing site, but I need to users to be able to buy credits, and reedem credits. The basic idea is you can purchase credits, and then donate them to a user to view their video. Than the person can reedem the credits for cash.
I don't have a clue how to get started, I am pretty sure I am going to go with the clipbucket script. Does anyone have any idea if a programmer would be able to build these features into the script?
Also, do you guys usually use local programmers, or say someone from odesk? I would feel much more comfortable with a local guy but not exactly sure how to find one.
