Best platform for travel site

Guys hi,

We are in the process of starting local travel.
We will start with top 20 things to do in our city, and than expand.

Functionality wise need something similar to these ones:

What's the optimal platform to start? I am thinking between magento and drupal.
Both will need lots of customization to make it work.

Are there platforms closer to what we need out of the box?

I am using similar firefox plugin -> wappalyzer, but most of the big sites are custom made.
