Benefits of Learning a Foreign Languange

I have been traveling a lot lately for international track meets to places such as. Mexico, Austria, Paris, And tomorrow I will be in Russia. I'm a social butterfly so I usually just talk to random people and nothing frustrates me more to be in another country and not be able to communicate with other people even if its simple conversations like "where is the bathroom!!!!". We all know where there is a significant problem, pain point or need us fastlaners will be able to fill that. When I'm in another country and I cant understand the languages I will not be able to hear or see people voice their problems.

I have found reasons to justify learning Spanish, German, and French I was just wondering if anyone had any more thoughts or ideas of what knowing foreign languages can be used for in a business standpoint?
