Hey there,
I'm an up-and-coming entrepreneur from Europe, Romania.
As you may or may not know, it just so happens that I'm living in one of the worst possible countries in Europe in terms of entrepreneurship potential. Romania was, until roughly two decades ago, a communist country whose government controlled the economy; private property was practically non-existing, as the State could seize anything you owned; there was always a shortage of products. Needless to say, that wasn't a conducive environment for entrepreneurship!
Although the communist government was overthrown, the economic system is still lagging behind most free markets from other European countries. Setting up a business legally requires about 3k$ in start-up costs and lots of bureaucratic hurdles. Considering that the minimum wage is 200$ per month and most people's salaries rarely exceed 1000$ per month, those start-up costs are almost impossible to meet if you aren't rich or have connections.
I've taken up educating myself about entrepreneurship and hope that I'll be able to start my business online soon.
