I have a blog that I'm making some money from. It is not a lot of money, but it is something decent that is continually growing slowly. But it brings me back to my younger days when the methods I use now were not as tangible and specific as they are now. Like how it was still a dream 10 years ago that I wanted to make money online but didn't know the specifics, but still it is what I wanted.

It was a long journey to finally start making even a small amount online. What stopped me before was the knowledge of the technicalities of how to do it, but I managed to teach myself piece by piece how to do it. How about you, are you making some money from your side hustle, and if not why do you think not?

What are you writing about in your Blog? It is any niche topic?

What are you writing about in your Blog? It is any niche topic?
Hi! It is basically affiliate marketing related and how to setup your own website. Then sources of monetization. Most that come into the blog are interested in product launches and launch jacking methods to get traffic to their own affiliate offers.

It is also a little bit of personal development especially increasing motivation because that tends to be a personal problem of mine and it may be for others too.

It took me some years to grow up enough to realize that “online” is not itself a business.

“Online” is just one distribution channel. Some things can only be distributed online... but everything can be talked about, shared, and marketed offline.

My biggest jump in web traffic didn’t come from great web design or content... It came from attending events, trade shows, and markets, meeting my target customers, and handing out business cards (as well as making some sales).

With a blog, I would encourage you think outside the box. For example, if your blog is news-related, try writing in to your local paper with an opinion column, and mention your name and even your blog address if they’ll let you.

Look for all kinds of opportunities like that.
