Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has had any success venturing into mobile apps, specifically turning their app ideas into reality.
It seems to me that a recurring topic on the forums involves a discussion between learning coding and creating the app yourself, versus having a freelancer on Fiverr or Upwork help you create it. Of course, having basic coding knowledge is fantastic, but it is a heavy time commitment, whereas hiring a development team in Asia would offer a considerable boost in both development time and app quality. The downside is the financial investment involved. Putting several thousand dollars into creating an app can be a costly gamble if it doesn't pay off.
I was hoping to hear from those of you that have gone down this path, what route did you take to build your app, and what kind of success have you achieved? Were you in a point in your life where you could afford to take such a investment with your funds? If you could do it again, what would you do differently? Some insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
