I'm not sure if this is the most appropriate place for this topic, but I was just wondering if anyone here has served in the Peace Corps. I am leaving for Africa in September serving in business development. I'm still waiting for my medical stuff to go through so I don't know which country I will be serving in specifically. I'm hoping that this opportunity will give me a excellent base of knowledge and experience from which to launch a successful career. Granted, I won't really be earning money for two years, but I think the experience will more than make up for it.
So if there are any returned volunteers here I would certainly like to hear what your experience was like and how it has affected your professional life in particular.
