Anyone heard of visual novels? They are like in-between-ners of normal black-and-white novels and comics. Has anyone dealt with such before? An ad for some anime app game appeared on my PC and when I retraced its origins to the company that made it, Type-Moon, it seemed to have been producing visual novels before being boosted by eventual TV adaptions.
I think it's classified under gaming, and one thing, it might defy the Commandment of Need slightly because gaming and entertainment lives on addiction. Selfish human psychology at its finest! I mean, addiction defies rationality. Past examples include people getting hooked on Minecraft even though it is rumoured to be childish or presently Battlefield 1 (but the graphics are quite good!-I see gameplay videos)
Anyone has any experience here with visual novels? Thanks.
