I can't believe I missed yveskleinsky's post on my thread about "Big Idea", but I just found out about this show on the LP forums.
Anyways, what I thought "Big Idea" was supposed to be: entrepreneurs pitching ideas for feedback, as opposed to what it actually is: those annoying financial "experts" ranting and going off on average Americans calling in to vent about the economy it turns out that Dragon's Den is that show!
It's a Canadian show where budding entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to the "dragons", successful entrepreneurs themselves, for their approval and most of all, investment capital!
Just wondering from anyone who has watched it what they think: Dana? Ryan(Richkid) or other Canadians?
Also wondering why a show like this hasn't caught on yet here? Remember the biggest show in the US, American Idol, is just a spin-off of the British version, Pop Idol and now practically EVERY country has their own "Idol", why not a US Dragon's Den?
