Or even other technical people! What discipline? Like it, hate it? What are you interests? Work for yourself, someone else (for now!), work doing something completely non-engineering?
I'll start:
I'm currently working on a Master's in Engineering (mechanical). I just love it; I'd do a PhD I like it so much, but don't want it enough right now that I'd rearrange my life to do so. I love technical work, math, programming, everything; the design, analysis, developing models, testing, going back and revising, testing again. Making the prototype, breaking it, blasting it with torches. Presenting the results. It's a fun process (most of the time!)
I work with composites mostly at a small firm (i.e., you run the gamut from the machine shop to the theory in your old textbooks to make numerical models).
Interests wise, I'm working on an engine now to make a log splitter I'm designing, and also getting ready to purchase some microcontrollers so I can hone my C and Python skills and maybe make a UAV helicopter. Or maybe something else, who knows.
