Hello everyone
My name is Phillip and I am going to be perfectly honest and say I am a student, a junior in high school to be exact. I have no businesses of my own and I am in no way an "e-baller", I am just an average 17 year old when it comes to influence, income, and means. I am the son of two successful business people that have always believed in a consistent paycheck and a consistent life. Up until a few months ago I shared similar beliefs simply because I knew no other way.
That all changed with a movie, Boiler Room. Watching the group interview scene changed my entire way of thinking. I realized that all of the things that I had consigned myself to never having, all of the people I realized I would never be able to help, well they were all suddenly within my grasp. In the following months I have committed myself to learning as much about business as I possibly can and integrating myself into as many situations that provide me with the opportunity to learn from the best as the amount of hours in a day allow. Since then I have formed a business club at my school and grown it into the largest student run organization in my school. I have written over twenty grants that have provided my club with thousands of dollars of working capital. I have formed conferences and events with thousands of attendees. On a daily basis I rub shoulders with the exact people whose lifestyle I wish to attain, many of whom have become close friends and mentors. I am and always will be an entrepreneur. Hopefully this forum will provide me with the exact kind of venue I've been seeking where in I can speak with like minded individuals and discuss business to my heart's content.
I realize this has become quite long winded and I understand many won't read it but I thank you for your time in advance.
