Imagine someone had created a dropshipping website called "pandemic supplies" at the start or even at the halfway point of the pandemic. The website would sell items such as hand sanitizer, toilet paper, different kinds of masks (n95, regular, etc), and plexiglass barriers for businesses.
Now imagine that for the marketing and advertisement, the creator of this website created a basic pamphlet saying :
"Hey fellow human, unfortunately, we live at a time of uncertainty and suffering. Covid has affected our lives in ways we could not have imagined. To make your life and your loved ones' lives easier, I've created a simple and easy-to-use website with some basic pandemic supplies that could help. If you think this could help you, check it out."
And then went out on the streets and gave it to thousands of people.
As for getting businesses to buy the supplies, cold-calling would be a solution. Clinics, convenience stores, and pretty much all other businesses were in need of plexiglass and other supplies.
What do you think? Would something like this have worked and been successful?
