I'm a little confused about something. If I have a product line with 5 variations of the same product, then does it make more sense to create a different listing for each product?

Or does it make sense to make one listing with variations?

Example

I have a product that comes in different scents. We'll just say that it's a perfume. Let's say the scents are:

Apple
Orange
Cherry
Grape
Blue Berry

The ingredients in the product are exactly the same, except for the fragrance. The only thing that I'm thinking is that I may want to change the product description based on the scent.

At first, I thought that it made more sense to create a product listing for each scent. But now, I'm thinking that I might be wrong about that.

Does it matter whether or not I create variations?
