Hi all!

First of all .. Very thankful to MJ for opening my eyes, both the Millionaire Fastlane and Unscripted books are amazing! Very happy to be in this community, it is invaluable.


A bit of my brief history:

I´m 27 years old, live in Paraguay, single without children. Currently in a slowlane job for a little over 2 years .. I´m a cashier (and yes, there are still people here serving people at the cash desk) in one of the largest banks in the country. Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm. I earn 600 USD monthly. In my country the minimum wage is 318 USD (approximately).

I have been working since I was 14 years old (always slowlane) and I remember that a few years after I had been working I told myself that I wanted to be a millionaire so I would never work again..

Failed in college in 2 carrers ... the first I studied for almost 4 years (while working full time), then changed careers when I believed it by reading and listening to some "gurus" saying: "follow what you are passionate about and You will never have to work one day in your life again "," You will be more successful if you dedicate yourself to what you are passionate about ", I believed all that. I quit my job I was in for more than 5 years, changed careers and it was a new beginning. I was feeling really excited and motivated, I was finally feeling that I was in charge of my life. The truth was, I didn't have something well planned and not even a source of income. I felt good for a while. Until the few savings were over, I started to get into debt(due to mistakes I made) and had to look for another job.

I was out of work for about 5 months and then they called me from the bank .. after a little over a year I saw MJ's book in an advertisement on youtube, I bought it .. Always read it on the bus on my way to college. It blew my mind. It changed the way I see and interpret not only money, but life. The best thing that happened to me.

Practically all of 2019 I was working to pay off debts and college(droped college in october 2019) ... in 2020 I was able to save something to invest and begin to pave my way on the fastlane. While I am learning web design.


I realized that college was really not being helpful ... it was costing me money, energy and time, a lot of time. I was not learning almost anything (on my own I was going to learn much more and faster) I did not like the toxic environment that there was.


I have not started any business yet, still work in the bank that by the way I do not like at all but my dream of going fastlane and being free is what keeps me and makes me able to bear this job. (And also the fact that I have to pay rent, water, electricity, internet and food).


I want to live with an income that is generated through a value that I am contributing, problems that I am solving, people that I am helping with my business.

As you can see, my English is not good. I improved it a lot thanks to this forum and Unscripted (listened to it 2 times in audible, and going for the 3rd). I apologize if something is not understood and I assure you that I will continue to improve. My native language is Spanish.
