Advice Needed!

I am at a stage where I have put all the numbers together and I find that I can do the business I want very successfully. However, the cost of initially buying in my product from china is very high. The initial capital I need to meet the order minimums is more than what I have. Also, the order minimum is a considerably large amount of product. I'm not opposed to paying a higher per unit cost for a smaller order size just to get me started. I have found a place in the United States that deals in the product I am selling but they are not returning my calls or emails.

When I search online for manufacturers of my product, I only find results for alibaba and those sites. Is there a way to search for local manufacturers? I do type in "my product Dallas, TX" or "my product manufacturing United States" but I get the same results. Any suggestions?
